SOLIS Foundation works with children, families, schools and communities to address barriers to education and improve learning opportunities. Our programmes focus on foundational learning, school enrolment, school strengthening and access to English learning.
1. Remedial Learning Centre
Our community-based Remedial Learning Centre supports children who need additional academic assistance. Through structured learning activities, we help children strengthen foundational literacy and numeracy skills, build confidence and develop regular learning habits.
2. Back to School – School Enrolment Support
We work with out-of-school children and their families to address barriers to school enrolment and regular attendance. Through household visits, community engagement and coordination with schools and education officials, we support children in accessing formal education and continuing their studies.
3. Government School Strengthening
SOLIS Foundation engages with government schools and local stakeholders to understand school-level needs and identify barriers that affect children’s learning. Our approach includes school needs assessment, community participation and coordination with relevant stakeholders to support improved learning environments.
4. Online English Learning Course
Our Online English Learning Course aims to improve access to foundational English learning for government school students. The course focuses on developing basic reading, writing, comprehension and speaking skills through structured lessons and regular practice.
