Collaborating to Expand Access to Education
SOLIS Foundation is a grassroots organisation working to improve access to education for children from underserved communities. We aim to address barriers to school participation, strengthen foundational learning and create supportive learning opportunities through community engagement and collaboration with educational institutions.
We welcome partnerships with corporate organisations, CSR teams, philanthropic institutions and development partners interested in advancing equitable and inclusive education.
Our Focus Areas
Foundational Learning and Remedial Education
Supporting children who experience learning gaps through structured remedial classes, foundational literacy and numeracy, and additional academic support.
School Enrolment and Retention
Engaging with families, communities and schools to identify out-of-school children, facilitate school enrolment and encourage regular attendance.
Government School Strengthening
Working with schools and local stakeholders to understand educational needs, identify learning gaps and support initiatives that contribute to a more inclusive learning environment.
English and Digital Learning
Expanding learning opportunities for government school students through structured English learning, digital resources and guided educational support.
Opportunities for Collaboration
SOLIS Foundation invites organisations to explore collaboration through:
- Programme Support: Funding for defined education initiatives, including remedial learning and school enrolment support.
- Educational Resources: Provision of books, stationery, teaching-learning materials and appropriate digital learning resources.
- Employee Volunteering: Opportunities for employees to contribute through mentoring, learning activities and skill-based volunteering.
- Technical Collaboration: Support in curriculum development, capacity building, programme design, documentation and monitoring.
- Community Engagement: Joint initiatives that encourage family participation and strengthen the relationship between schools and communities.
Partnerships can be developed around mutually agreed objectives, programme requirements, geographical priorities and available resources.
Our Approach to Accountability
We recognise the importance of transparency, responsible resource utilisation and clear programme documentation. For supported initiatives, SOLIS Foundation aims to establish defined activities, implementation plans, budgets and monitoring processes in consultation with partners.
Programme updates and available documentation, including activity records, attendance information, expenditure statements and learning progress, can be shared in accordance with the agreed reporting framework and applicable requirements.
